To receive the Harrison accolades, a recipient must possess many of the ideals and traits that Raymond Harrison instilled in Adam Leitman Bailey. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and strong academic achievement, while at the same time pursuing Mr. Harrison’s deep-seated values of success and the desire to make the world a better place through helping others.
The faculty of New Milford High School chooses the recipient each year along with Adam Leitman Bailey choosing exceptional high school interns. You must meet the following criteria:
- Economic need
- Strong academic achievement
- Pursue Mr. Harrison’s goals of success and to make the world a better place to live through helping others
- Achieve stellar academic success as determined by a group consisting of Ray Harrison and the administration of New Milford High School, or be an outstanding high school intern
- To renew the scholarship each year, the winner must maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA.
