Each year in Westchester, New York, the Chappaqua Book Festival invites authors from around the nation to meet with young readers for live story times, author talks, illustration demos, and more.
This year, Adam Leitman Bailey took part in the festival and was delighted to meet with many young readers of his children’s book, HOME. Speaking with the children, Adam Leitman Bailey was able to inspire them to continue their love and enthusiasm for reading while also spreading his message from HOME, that it doesn’t matter where you live, what matters is the people who surround you. Adam Leitman Bailey was incredibly grateful that the festival gave him the chance to personally meet with his readers and their parents to hear how his book has impacted their lives.
