The NEA’s Annual Read Across America Day is an exceptionally special day for Building Foundations & Dreams, and not just because it happens to fall on none other than Dr. Seuss’s birthday. It is a day in which youth across the nation are celebrated and encouraged to read.
This year for Read Across America, Adam Leitman Bailey was invited to read his children’s book, HOME, at a local elementary school. The event was particularly meaningful for Adam, as he was able to share his passion for education with two 1st Grade classes and gift each student with their very own copy of HOME.
