Please congratulate our very own intern, Eliana Batista, on being awarded the 26th Raymond “Hap” Harrison Scholarship! This scholarship – first awarded in 2008 – is given to high school graduates attending college who possess many of the ideals and traits Raymond Harrison instilled in Mr. Bailey, including deep-seated values of success and the desire to make the world a better place through helping others. In the Fall, Eliana will be attending Borough of Manhattan Community College and aspires to be a second grade teacher.
